South Tyrol is an ideal region for mountain biking and cycling tours. Around the Fichtenhof in Gfrill near Salurn, there are numerous options – from easy routes along cycle paths to more demanding off-road tours. Whether on narrow trails with scenic views or on quiet forest roads, the focus is on being active in nature and enjoying the varied landscape.

Thanks to the mild climate, mountain biking in South Tyrol is possible from spring until late autumn. Many routes run far from traffic and offer peace, fresh mountain air, and an immersive nature experience. There are often stretches where you ride completely alone and can experience the surroundings more consciously.

Between Bolzano and Trento, a wide range of tours can be explored from Salurn, both to the north and the south. Along the way, you will discover castles, medieval fortresses, and historic manor houses set among vineyards and apple orchards.

We are happy to personally advise you on suitable tours and give you tips to explore the area around Salurn in an active and varied way. A large, lockable garage for bicycles is also available free of charge for our guests.
