Salurn Cittaslow
In October 2015, Salurn became part of the international Cittaslow network. The municipality stands for quality of life, regional identity, and a conscious way of living. Salurn is shaped by its unique location among vineyards, the terraced landscape up to Buchholz, the South Tyrolean Wine Road, and the trail network of the Trudner Horn Nature Park.

The surrounding landscape also has a lot to offer: a striking waterfall, biotopes, the Adige River, and the Haderburg castle towering above the village. Salurn is also one of the most important white wine-producing communities in South Tyrol and combines agriculture with authentic, regionally influenced cuisine. The friendliness and hospitality of the people play a key role in shaping the character of the village.

Salurn is therefore an ideal destination for anyone who wants to experience nature, culture, and good food in a conscious way, far from mass tourism.

SLOW.Made
SLOW.Made is a project by the municipality of Salurn in collaboration with the Teresa Schgraffer family and the local youth group. The aim is to strengthen village life and pass on traditional craftsmanship. In workshops, artisans, hobbyists, and experienced locals teach young people traditional techniques such as sewing, papermaking, woodworking, and the creative use of recycled materials.
